New tenant
Congratulations on your new home! We have carefully managed this property for you so that you can enjoy it to its fullest.
The first days
We strongly recommend taking out home contents insurance right away. This will insure you against fire, water damage, and theft.
You are responsible for registering with gas and electricity providers and for submitting the initial or final meter readings for gas and electricity. You can choose whichever energy supplier best suits your needs.
Municipality registration
Within a few working days after moving in, it is necessary to register yourself and your housemates and/or children at the new residential address.You will need a (copy of) your rental agreement and a DigiD for this.

TV, internet, and telephone
You can arrange a subscription for cable television, telephone, and internet with the providers of your choice. Please note that arranging a new connection can take up to four weeks and that this will involve costs that are at your expense.
AHAM Vastgoed ensures that a Ziggo connection is available in all renovated homes in Amsterdam.
Delivery of the residence
We will do everything we can to deliver the residence to you free of defects. If you notice any issues upon delivery or have technical questions, please report them to us within 21 days of receiving the keys by emailing won@aham.nl. In consultation with you, we will resolve any defects as quickly as possible.
