Nuisance

Naturally, it’s unpleasant to experience nuisance caused by neighbours or nearby residents. Unfortunately, due to the architecture of Amsterdam’s older buildings and the presence of multiple households within one property, it is often impossible to prevent some level of noise from carrying between homes. We encourage you to be considerate and mindful of your neighbours, to speak to each other if any disturbance occurs, and to try to find a solution together.
