Privacy Statements Drones
1. General
This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal data by AHAM Vastgoed in connection with the use of drones (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) for the inspection and maintenance of its buildings. We handle your data with care and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Processing of Personal Data and Purposes
AHAM Vastgoed uses drones to carry out visual inspections of roofs, facades and other structural components of its buildings. The footage is processed to assess the technical condition of the buildings, to plan and perform (preventive) maintenance, and to ensure the safety and sustainability of the real estate.
It is not the intention to capture individuals on camera. However, it may occur unintentionally that persons appear in the footage or that limited visibility through windows occurs. If this happens, appropriate measures are taken to protect the privacy of those involved, including avoiding capturing individuals during flights whenever possible, limiting recordings to structural building elements, and, where feasible, removing footage of individuals and/or blurring or otherwise rendering individuals and any view into homes unrecognizable.
Residents are informed at least one week in advance via a notification letter.
AHAM Vastgoed has a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to process these personal data, as it is necessary for the effective and safe maintenance of our real estate, including technical inspections and multi-year maintenance planning.
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
4. Retention Periods
Individuals who appear unintentionally in the footage are blurred, as are windows when visibility into the interior is possible. This ensures that the identifiability of individuals is minimized.
It is necessary to retain these (blurred) images for the duration of the maintenance cycle, allowing the technical condition of the building to be monitored and compared over time. As a rule, this retention period is a maximum of six years.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
Personal data are not shared with third parties unless necessary for building access, for compliance with legal obligations, or for IT service providers that process footage on behalf of AHAM Vastgoed.
These parties are bound by data processing agreements in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
6. Security
AHAM Vastgoed implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your personal data against loss and unlawful processing (Article 32 GDPR).
These measures include, among others, minimizing identifiability of individuals by blurring persons captured unintentionally and blurring windows when there is visibility into the interior. Additionally, footage is stored in secure systems with restricted access, ensuring that only authorized employees have access.
